Benjamin Alistair Announces New EP Illuminated, A Dance-Hip-Hop Fusion to Kick Off Your Fall Groove
September 11, 2024 (TUCSON, AZ) — Tucson-based artist Benjamin Alistair is preparing to release his new EP, Illuminated, on September 20, 2024. This project marks a significant evolution in Benjamin’s artistic journey as he dives deeper into house music, following the success of his fan-favorite track Late Night. Infused with the energy of summer, Illuminated is an uplifting and groovy house project, blending dance beats with hip-hop/rap verses and exploring love and relationships with a whimsical touch.
The EP was produced entirely by VRDNYN (Viktor Vardanyan), whose cohesive production elevates the project, giving it a smooth, electrifying sonic palette. Recorded and engineered at OCF Studios in Tucson, AZ, under the guidance of Cecilia of OCF, Illuminated also features collaborations with local Arizona talent. Highlights include two tracks with Rae.L of OCF, as well as contributions from frequent collaborator Nat Gem and Lovely Koi. Benjamin’s dedication to fostering local talent is evident throughout the project, with the Arizona community playing a vital role in bringing the EP to life.
